55th National DHIA Annual Meeting March 3 – 5, 2020 Savannah, Georgia

The NDHIA Leadership Workshop and 55th Annual Meeting will be held March 4th and 5th (Wednesday and Thursday).  There will be shoulder meetings the days prior to the NDHIA 2020 Annual Meeting. The shoulder meetings will be March 3rd (Tuesday) with information being forwarded as it becomes available.  There will not be a farm tour this year.

Hotel reservations are due January 29, 2020.  Rates start at $185/night plus tax.   After this date, all room reservation requests will be subject to rate/room type availability.  Please make your reservation as soon as possible.

Airport:  Fly into Savannah International Airport (SAV).  The airport is about 20 minutes from the hotel.

NDHIA Membership Breakfast (NDHIA Management, Delegates and DRPCs ONLY)

National DHIA and QCS staff will review 2019 operations and update activities in milk recording Quality Certification, and DHIA Services.

Leadership Session (OPEN) – The morning session will be joint with the Delegates, DHI Mangement & QCS Field Service group, the afternoon for the National DHIA meeting attendees.

Ideas will be shared on positioning DHI organizations for implementing new technology and  effectively communicating DHI’s return on investment.  New and innovative management programs and processes will be shared to help DHI organization prepare for the future.  Allied industry representatives whose organizations impact the milk recording/data collection industry will provide updates and insights into their products and interaction with DHI.

Annual Meeting & Educational Sessions (OPEN)

The National DHIA annual business meeting will include the CEO – Management Report, Financial Report and President’s Report along with a keynote topic.  Sessions following the annual meeting will include reports from the US, Canada, and Denmark along with NAAB, breed associations, ICAR, Interbull and international allied organizations about their efforts and cooperation within the global milk recording industry.
