ADSA Convention Canceled; Converted to Online Event

American Dairy Science Association

The American Dairy Science Association announced that its annual convention has been canceled. The well attended event had been set for June 21 – 24 in West Palm Beach, Fla. The announcement came on Apr. 24 from ADSA leadership in a message to members and to those who had registered to attend. The decision was taken by the board of directors because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The announcement said the event would be held online instead.

“We are excited about this new virtual direction, as it provides our community an even more inclusive opportunity to support ADSA’s mission to provide a global forum for professionals, educators and students from around the world to share their research and interests in dairy science,” the message reported.

More information will be forthcoming, according the event chair Mike VanderHaar, PhD, ADSA president Rafael Jimenez-Flores, PhD and Executive Director Catherine Kuber Perry.
