“Agriculture’s Roots in Washington”

USDA’s Ted McKinney to speak at Stakeholder's Summit

United States Department of Agriculture’s Ted McKinney will speak to attendees at the Animal Agriculture Alliance’s 2018 Stakeholders Summit set for May 3-4 at the Renaissance Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Va.

Ted McKinney serves as Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs and leads the development and implementation of the Department’s trade policy, oversees and facilitates foreign market access, and promotes opportunities for U.S. agriculture through various trade programs and high-level government negotiations.

This year’s Summit themed, “Protect Your Roots,” will inspire attendees representing all facets of animal agriculture to be proud of their past and current roles in the industry and challenge them to be forward-thinking about how we can continue to grow into the future. McKinney will speak about USDA’s commitment to helping farmers and ranchers adapt to changing times and be successful into the future.

The speakers and panel discussions for the first day of the event will be live-streamed for those who are not able to attend in person. To view the livestream, visit https://agtoday.us/2018-aaa-summit
