Crop Management Field Days in western Wisconsin

Aug. 15 field days in Chippewa Falls, Waumandee & La Crosse; Aug. 16 in Tomah & Viola

 The UW-Extension offices of Buffalo, Chippewa, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, and Vernon are hosting a series of Crop Management Field Days August 15-16, 2018.

 

Speakers and topics include, Dr. Rodrigo Werle, UW Weed Scientist, “Recap of 2018 Weed Management Season, Systems Approach to Weed Management, Waterhemp and Dicamba updates”; Dr. Brian Luck, UW Biological-Systems Engineer, “Getting Started with Precision Ag, UAV (drone) demonstrations with different sensing cameras”, and Bryan Jensen, UW IPM Program Manager, “Armyworms and Insect Management with Increased Residue”, “Japanese Beetles; when to get nervous”, and “Corn Rootworm Update”
