Farmers Glean Insights to Protect Sensitive Employee and Farm Data, Nov. 6 Webinar

There is a growing need to protect sensitive data in our information-rich dairy businesses, including employee information, herd performance metrics, financial records, and more. Launched by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW), farmers and agribusiness will participate the PDPW World Class Webinar – Managing Cybersecurity, a one-hour Webinar presented live Wed., Nov. 6, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. CT.

Jeremy Cherny, an Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity expert, will present the “Protect your Dairy from a Cyber Attack” session to share how farm owners and managers can identify a potential cyberattack before it occurs, develop a proactive security plan, outline strategy considerations to mitigate risk, and how to prepare for recovery should a cyberattack occur. Cherny will also address the consequences of not having a plan, including the costs of time, money and reputation lost in the aftermath.

Jeremy Cherny brings more than 30 years of experience in all facets of the IT field and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. As President of Tobin Solutions, Cherny has helped provide IT support, services and solutions to small and medium sized businesses in multiple industries.
