The 2017 Penn State Dairy Nutrition Workshop will be held November 15-16 at the Holiday Inn in Grantville, Pa. This workshop provides applied dairy nutrition information and training to feed industry professionals. The November 15 preconference will be sponsored by Ajinomoto Heartland, Inc. and focuses on maximizing the benefits of amino acids in your nutritional program. Mary Ledman is back to kick off the general session on November 16 with her dairy market outlook, followed by discussions of biotechnology and the value of milk components. Breakout sessions will explore these subjects and more; a wide variety of topics from transition cow health and nutrition to in-depth discussions of starch and fiber digestibility, hoof health and lameness, fatty acid profiles of milk, improving communication skills, value added opportunities, and much more. There is something for everyone and plenty of opportunity for you to personalize your agenda to match your interests. Thursday morning you can choose from two breakfast sessions. Adisseo’s breakfast will feature Chuck Schwab, and ICC USA’s breakfast will explore nucleotides, beta-glucans, and MOS. A post conference sponsored by Enogen Feed will focus on new corn technologies.
In addition to the educational sessions, we offer a trade show featuring approximately 60 companies that serve the nutrition industry.
We strive to present practical and timely issues for the dairy feed and nutrition industry, and our attendees consistently rank this training opportunity as one of the premier events in the Northeast. Hands-on workshops and practical sessions offer information you can use to help your clients succeed. You should be in Grantville in November to expand your knowledge and network with the approximately 600 others who attend this event.
