Wall’s Message: “Lead Your People, and the Cows Will Follow.”
Dubbed the “Dairy Coach,” Tom Wall is passionate about helping people and farms reach their potential. Based in Green Bay, Wis., he is the President of Dairy Interactive, LLC, and specializes in helping dairy producers make their employee teams more productive and accountable. Wall will bring his expertise in “Motivating Your Team” to his message at the 2019 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit, being held February 5 – 6 at the Lancaster Marriot Conference Center in Lancaster, Pa.
Wall has worked with dairies throughout the country for over 17 years, helping managers create and implement simple systems that work while training and coaching their employees. He is a regular columnist with publications such as Dairy Herd Management and Progressive Dairyman. He is also the creator of the “Details for Dairy” training video series, Dairy Interactive Milker Training simulator, and employee on-boarding app PeopleCOR. His message is to “Lead Your People, and Your Cows Will Follow.”
Other keynote speakers this year will offer perspective on farm productivity, leadership styles, and civic responsibility. Breakouts are tailored to focus on four tracks: At the Desk, Around the Table, With the Cows and In the Field. The two-day industry rate for this year’s Dairy Summit is $225 per person. Additional non-producers from the same organization can be registered at $175 per person for the two-day conference. The one-day rate for non-producers is $150 per person with additional registrations available at $125. Group rates are also available.
The Center for Dairy Excellence and Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania have discounted registration fees for dairy producers and farm employees to $75 for the first registrant and $50 for each additional person from the same farm. One-day registration for dairy producers and farm employees is $25 per day. Room reservation fees are not included in the discounted rate.
