The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is accepting public comments on its Draft Dairy Digester Research and Development Program (DDRDP) Benefits Calculator Tool and supporting Draft DDRDP Quantification Methodology until November 16, 2018. The calculator was developed to estimate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions and selected co-benefits of each proposed project type for the DDRDP. CARB has included an output tab in the calculator for selected co-benefits and key variables to enhance analysis, provide greater transparency, and assist in project-level reporting. The calculator estimates GHG emission reductions and air pollutant emission co-benefits using methods described in the supporting Draft DDRDP Quantification Methodology.
The Draft Benefits Calculator Tool and Draft Quantification Methodology are subject to change pending stakeholder comments and final DDRDP guidelines. Comments on the calculator and methodology may be submitted to: [email protected].
The Final DDRDP Benefits Calculator Tool and Final DDRDP Quantification Methodology will be available on the California Climate Investments resources webpage.
