Dr. Barry Bradford from the Animal Sciences and Industry Department at Kansas State will present “Taking Amino Acids Beyond Production: How Amino Acids Impact the Immune System” during an upcoming Adisseo wine and cheese reception. In his presentation, Dr. Bradford will focus on the role of amino acids in immunity, infection, and health. Dr. Bradford specializes in dairy nutrition, nutrient metabolism, and nutritional endocrinology. He also oversees an active research program and teaches graduate-level courses.
Dr. Bradford will speak during the Adisseo Wine & Cheese reception on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Wine and Cheese begins at 6:30 p.m. with Dr. Bradford’s presentation following at 7:00 p.m. The reception coincides with the annual meeting of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA).
