Dr. Michael Dykes of IDFA speaks about dairy exports and the USMCA trade agreement

Speaking with Joel Hastings of DairyBusiness News at Hilmar Cheese Company in California, Dr. Michael Dykes urges Congress to pass the USMCA trade agreement. As head of the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), Dykes was meeting with top dairy processors in California and three area Congress members.

Growing up milking cows and as a dairy vet early in his career, Dr. Dykes knows dairy from teat to table. IDFA's membership includes processors of all dairy products from farmer owned cooperatives to multinational food companies. He said today, dairy exports total all the milk produced one day each week and that exports must double in the next ten years.
