HGTV Star Clint Robertson Builds Holiday Food Memories With Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese

Entertaining at the holidays builds memories for a lifetime, but for busy people, finding the time to cook or bake can be a challenge.  Cheese is the ideal solution – it’s naturally delicious as is, and versatile in a variety of recipes.  For example, the handcrafted cheeses from Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese add flavor to everything from appetizers to entrees to desserts.

That makes sense to Clint Robertson, of Boise, Idaho. Clint is a busy guy – he’s a high-energy, hands-on partner in a home renovation business that’s featured nationally on HGTV. While he uses his building skills and creativity in his business, he also likes to build memories by cooking for family and friends.

On a recent day in the kitchen, Clint used an array of Crave Brothers Farmstead cheeses to create a variety of easy-to-make, flavor-packed treats — everything from Fried Cheese Curds and Cheese Crackers, to Cheesy Quiche and Mascarpone Dessert Spread.

At the same time, 18-year-old Daniel, one of three sons of Clint and his wife, Sandy, whipped up some cheesy pizzas.

In his Cheese Crackers and Cheesy Quiche, Clint used Crave Brothers Farmer’s Rope Cheese.  To create his chocolate Dessert Spread, Clint used the award-winning, creamy Crave Brothers Mascarpone cheese.

Clint co-stars on a hit HGTV show, Boise Boys, in which he and his partner, Luke Caldwell, renovate homes. Clint also was a finalist on the NBC show, The Apprentice, in 2010. A passionate entrepreneur, Clint has used his business degree, law degree, contractor’s license and real estate broker’s license to create a number of small businesses throughout his career, including a restaurant.

While he’s proud of his business successes, Clint lives for his family—a philosophy shared by his partner, Luke.  Clint finds cooking for his family and friends to be one of the most rewarding and relaxing parts of his life.

The “family first” approach is shared by the Crave family. Every pound of Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Cheeses is made with milk produced by cows from the family’s own dairy herd. Licensed cheese maker George Crave oversees the cheese-making process in the family’s own farmstead facility, which practices sustainability through water conservation, recycling, and the use of 100% green power.
