New Holland Agriculture is proud to showcase several new products at this week’s World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis., including the all-new RF Series Fixed Chamber Round Baler, DuraCracker™ and BigBaler Plus Series. Each new model is designed to increase dairy farmers’ productivity and efficiency.
“We’re proud to present at the World Dairy Expo and share our new and innovative hay and forage products with dairy operators from across the globe,” said Chun Woytera, Senior Director of Commercial Marketing for New Holland North America. “New Holland recognizes that high quality feed is a key ingredient to producing high quality milk, and we strive to provide products that boost your operating efficiency in the field and keep your cows happy, too.”
RF Series Fixed Chamber Round Baler:
New Holland’s baler offering has expanded with the introduction of the three new RF Series fixed chamber round balers: the RF440 Utility, RF450 Utility and RF450 SuperFeed. These balers are ideal for dairy operators who are looking for the flexibility to dry wet and/or dry crop. Designed for modern productivity with proven simplicity, the RF Series balers are tough, affordable, and easy to use, ensuring that farmers can create quality bales in a wide range of crop conditions.
Following the release of the BigBaler 340 Plus in 2016, New Holland has unveiled the newly expanded BigBaler Plus lineup, including the BigBaler 230 Plus and BigBaler 330 Plus. Engineered with productivity and efficiency boosting enhancements, dairy operators will create bales with up to 10% more density than previous models. A 10% increase in density means famers can get more crop into each bale, which saves time and fuel by reducing the number of trips needed from the field to the barn. New BigBaler Plus models also can be equipped with IntelliCruise™ ISOBUS Class III tractor-baler automation technology. IntelliCruise allows operators to work more efficiently by controlling the tractor’s speed to meet the baler’s optimum capacity.
The all-new DuraCracker crop processors deliver high-level processing scores and reliability to ensure productivity all season long. Designed with the widest rolls in the industry, the new DuraCracker provides top-notch processing even at high crop throughputs. The heavy-duty crop processor is available in three configurations, including 100/130 straight saw teeth, 110/138 saw teeth with a spiral groove or complete crop processor without rolls to allow installation of aftermarket rolls for customers with special requirements. The DuraCracker comes standard on model year 2018 FR850s, and it is optional on the FR650 and FR780.
