Dairy Industry Professional Roundtable Meetings are scheduled for this April and May
The roundtable meetings are designed specifically for dairy professionals who are working day in and out with Pennsylvania’s dairy farm families. The meetings will include the steps involved in calculating cost of production and developing a risk management plan. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to share in a roundtable discussion about current issues in the industry and what they are seeing within their respective areas. All the meetings will include a meal followed by discussion.
Meetings will be held:
- State College — Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 a.m., Perkins (525 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801)
- Mansfield — Tuesday, April 30 at 1:00 p.m., Lamb’s Creek Food & Spirits (200 Gateway Drive, Mansfield, PA 16933)
- Martinsburg — Thursday, May 2 at 7:30 a.m., The Bistro at the Village Green (403 Village Way, Martinsburg, PA 16662)
- Grove City — Thursday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m., Hoss’s Steak & Seahouse (1948 Leesburg Grove City Road, Grove City, PA 16127)
- Carlisle – Friday, May 3 at 7:30 a.m., Cumberland County Extension Office (310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013)
- Lancaster – Friday, May 10, at 7:30 a.m., Lancaster Farm and Home Center (1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, PA 17601)
