12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. CT
President, Ag Resource Company
Dan Basse has been in the commodity business since 1979 and is President of AgResource Company, a domestic and international agricultural research firm in Chicago that forecasts domestic and world agricultural price trends. AgResource provides their research to multiple segments of the industry including farmers, elevators, soy, corn, wheat processors and millers, food and trading companies, meat packers, importers and exporters, and their research is sold around the globe.
While the weather continues to wreak havoc across all sectors of agriculture, an increase in U.S. milk price has been a welcome change to dairy producers. Economist Dan Basse will help make sense of the complex and interrelated pieces of agriculture markets.
There’s no end to how reports, projections, and predictions can be evaluated for producers globally and domestically – especially during unprecedented times. Tune in as Basse simplifies what the bottom line is in terms of what you can expect in the markets in the seasons ahead.
