Western Dairy Management Conference Postponed

The 2021 Western Dairy Management Conference has been postponed until Nov. 1 – 4, according to conference organizers. The biennial event which typically attracts over 1500 dairymen and industry personnel was originally set for early March, its traditional dates. It will still be held at the Peppermill Resort and Casino in Reno, Nev.

The reason for the change, of course, is concern about COVID-19 and potential travel difficulties. Dr. Michael Brouk, conference co-chair, said in emails to the planning committee and sponsors, “After much debate and consideration, we feel it necessary to move the dates. This will hopefully allow us to have returned to a more normal travel situation.”

The sponsorship deadline was also moved to July 1, 2021. Additional information can be found at the conference website, www.wdmc.org.
